    TB-500 (Thymosin Beta-4): Mechanism & Repair Research

TB-500 is a synthetic fragment of Thymosin Beta-4, a naturally occurring 43-amino-acid actin-sequestering peptide involved in cellular migration, wound healing and angiogenesis.

    Mechanism of action

TB-500 binds G-actin monomers, promoting cytoskeletal remodeling and directed cell migration. Preclinical models demonstrate upregulation of endothelial migration, myocardial progenitor mobilization and hair follicle stem-cell activation.

    Research benefits

    • Enhanced fibroblast and keratinocyte migration in wound models
    • Cardiac progenitor cell mobilization after ischemic injury
    • Hair follicle stem cell activation in dermal research
    • Anti-inflammatory activity through actin-dependent pathways
